"ANGEL IN THE NIGHT"

Based on a true story

 

Written by Joanna Halpert Kraus

Directed by Mario D’Alimonte

This drama about a young girl's courage is based on the true story of Marysia Pawlina Szul, a Polish Catholic teen, who saved the lives of four Jews during World War II. She is honored both in Yad Vashem, Israel, and the Avenue of the Righteous Park, Evanston, IL. Angel in the Night is an inspirational story of courage, compassion and heroism reinforcing the concept that one individual can make a difference and that ultimately love is stronger than hate.

An unexpected romance engages widowed seniors in their golden years. They decide to introduce each other to their adult children, but they are met with a wall of resistance and disapproval. Even though the children’s own marriages are anything but perfect, they don’t hesitate to give relationship advice to their parents! Funny, fast-paced, and full of witty banter, this endearing comedy appeals to all ages.

Medina had a successful Night at the Movies on March 2nd. President Morris Jacobs presented a movie about the history of the old Broadway originals, Broadway: The Golden Age, by the Legends Who Were There (2003)

Medina's Valentine's Event, Spotlight on Love was a romantic event with members performing poetry, monologues, excerpts from movies and even performing love songs. Fun was had by all.
