Medina's Valentine's Event, Spotlight on Love was a romantic event with members performing poetry, monologues, excerpts from movies and even performing love songs. Fun was had by all.

A STAGED READING PERFORMANCE OF

THE INVESTIGATION

A stark, haunting play done as concentrated recitation, in detached and precise detail, of the vilest atrocities, The Investigation is an overwhelming dramatic experience. It is Weiss' ruthless documentary of the Frankfurt Auschwitz trials, which he attended. These proceedings, held in 1963-5 focused on the crimes perpetrated at Auschwitz.
Using the actual testimony of survivors as witnesses against those who exploited them and others, Weiss creates a riveting drama based on the trial.

A Workshop Presented By

 

Mario D’Alimonte

Mario is an actor, director and teacher of theatre. He is delighted to be working with Medina Theatre Ensemble. His most recent directing credits include Songs in the Key of Stephen, The Laramie Project, Joseph and the Amazing…Dreamcoat, The 25^th Putnam County Spelling Bee, Merrily We Roll Along, The Diary of Anne Frank and Lost in Yonkers. In the fall, Mario will be directing Fiddler on the Roof for Encore Entertainment, at the Toronto Centre for the Arts. When he’s not involved in the theatre, Mario works as teacher of deaf and hard-of-hearing children.
